“DO IT! Your family and friends will be thankful you did and there are hearing aids that fit all budgets so they’re never out of reach for anyone!”
How and when did you first realize you were experiencing hearing loss?

I was born prematurely 2 months early back in 1986. I’ve had hearing loss my whole life. My day to day problems are just like anyone with hearing loss. I mishear a lot of things people say or don’t quite catch what it is they say. It’s difficult to communicate from a distance especially in an outdoor environment.

Where did you first go for information or help? Why?

Dr. Ormson has been my hearing specialist for as long as I can remember.

Based on your experience, do you have suggestions for others on how and where to start? Any other important things for them to consider?

Get your hearing checked! Do not take your hearing for granted and the hearing aids they make now are fantastic! The technology is incredible and very much worth looking into.

What was your biggest concern about hearing aids? Did that turn out to be true?

My biggest concern was just how much better they would let me hear versus the hearing aids I already had.

How have hearing aids changed your life? How do they help you at your job, in your hobbies or at volunteer activities?

Hearing Aids allow me to live my life! Married, kid, job and LIFE!

What would you tell someone who is considering hearing aids?

DO IT! Your family and friends will be thankful you did and there are hearing aids that fit all budgets so they’re never out of reach for anyone!
